number one

Throughout my blog-surfing adventure this afternoon I explored more than a handful of blogs in which talented artists had taken over. One in particular stood out to me though, in part of the impressive sketches being displayed that looked to be based off of the artists real life observations. It was the works displayed on wagonized that caught my attention, and it came across to me that France Belleville had successfully translated a bit of his reality onto paper, or at least those which eventually ended up in his blog which observers like myself could enjoy. The page is coated with both still life and portraits...from pampers baby wipes to the sleeping baby herself. One my favorite components to this page was the lightheartedness of most everything posted. Everyday people, and everyday objects, some rough, some intricate, all included a realistic ingredient with a particular memory attached.
